A personalized diagnostic report could aid with clear communication of diagnostic test results and dementia diagnosis to patients and care partners, which could aid with their understanding of the diagnosis. The diagnostic report designed in this study was positively valued by most patients and care partners. The authors found that the report should be brief, be straightforward, and provide results of the diagnostic tests and information on future expectations.
