Three peer-reviewed, scientific publications that describe the use of cNeuro

Three journal papers relevant to cNeuro have been published in early 2019
  1. Visual rating scales are commonly used in assessing MRI images of patients with cognitive  disorders, especially in Europe. The paper in European Radiology shows that such rating scales can be estimated computationally in a reliable way
  2. Diagnosing frontotemporal dementia (FTD) may be challenging. The paper in NeuroImage Clinical presents new imaging biomarkers for detecting FTD from other indications and for diagnosing different FTD subtypes  (https://doi.org/10.1007/s00330-019-06067-1).
  3. Determining the underlying etiology of dementia can be challenging. The paper in Current Alzheimer Research presents results from the prospective PredictND study validating the use of a clinical decision support system. The results show increased clinicians’ confidence in diagnosing patients (https://doi.org/10.2174/1567205016666190103152425).
